FOCUS

Here we are again today looking to God & the Bible again. As is always the case every time we do so, the processing center is our brain. The “currency” by which the “business” takes place is our thoughts. Don’t think too much about that, but be sure to know that’s how it all gets done. It’s kind of like not spending all your thoughts analyzing the mechanics of what happens when your car engine is functioning properly to make & keep the car moving, just step on the gas :-) …

I am confident today’s message will make a difference as God has His way.

Using & Leveraging Our Minds for

God’s Glory Includes the Realms of …

1. worship & witness.

Neither can happen fully & effectively without our mind’s informed involvement.

John 4:21-24 (especially vs23-24) / Acts 17:1-4 & 2 Corinthians 4:1-2 & 5:11

2. spiritual warfare & meaningful ministry.

We’re talking battleground & holy ground.

2 Corinthians 2:10-11 & Ephesians 6:10-18 (esp v17) / Acts 17:1-4 & 17ff & 28:30-31

Romans 12:1-2 Colossians 1:13-14 Ephesians 4:17ff / 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

Making It Real

1] How do you need to change your thinking concerning worship & witness?

2] What better thoughts can you embrace concerning spiritual warfare & ministry?

Action Step

Pick one of the four realms we’ve discussed to focus on this coming week.

Ask God to lead you specifically to greater victory in whatever that realm is.
